At the July meeting of the Executive of Rochford District Council it was resolved for The Freight House in Rochford to be reopened as soon as possible.

This is in advance of the Council taking a formal decision regarding commencement of refurbishment and development works at the site.

We are pleased to confirm the reopening date of Freight House will be Monday 24th October.

Councillor Mike Webb, Portfolio Holder for Housing, Assets & Leisure, said:
