The Chairman of Rochford District Council is asking young people who live in Rochford or attend an infant or primary school within the district, to design this year’s official ‘Chairman’s Civic Christmas Card’.
Entries should feature ‘*Scenes of Rochford District at Christmas’.*
The Chairman of Rochford District Council, Cllr Mike Steptoe, will choose the winning Christmas card design which will be sent to dignitaries around Essex. The winning designer will receive a £50 Amazon gift voucher, and our two runners up will receive £10 Amazon gift vouchers.
Cllr Mike Steptoe said: “I would like to invite all school aged children from around the Rochford District to design my 2022 Christmas Card. I am sure that we will receive some outstanding entries as we have so many talented children within our Rochford district.
“Whether this be the Christmas tree in Rochford’s Market Square, a grotto at the Rayleigh Windmill, or perhaps your local Light Switch-on or Christmas Market. This is your opportunity to let your Christmas spirit shine.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing the imaginative designs from school children from around the district!”
